The two Day Whale and Wine Tour is the perfect tour for people who don’t have much time but still want to see some of the best things around Cape Town.

Departing every Saturday from Cape Town, you will first visit a Township where you will experience some African culture. After this you head up to the wine estates in Stellenbosch and Paarl where you will taste some of the best wines of South Africa in combination with cheese and chocolate. After a wonderful afternoon, the trip continuous to Cape of Agulhas, the most southern point of Africa where you will spend the night.

The next day you can choose for an optional shark cage dive or choose for a relaxed morning in Hermanus, known as one of the best whale spotting places in the world. On the way back to Cape Town you will make a stop at Betty’s Bay to bring a visit to the amazing penguin colony.

Day 1 : Cape Town to Cape Agulhas – Stellenbosch, Franschhoek

Morning pick-up in Cape Town or Stellenbosch.
Discover the roads between the Cape Winelands toward the tranquil Overberg region.
Experience a part of South African culture during a vibrant township experience.
Sample some of the best wines, pairing it with cheese and even chocolates at various wine estates in the Stellenbosch and Paarl wine region.
Explore the charming streets of Franschhoek, dotted with restaurants, cafés, galleries and quaint shops.
Travel to the most southern tip of Africa at Cape Agulhas – where the Indian and Atlantic oceans meet.

Day 2: Cape Agulhas to Cape Town- Hermanus, Betty’s Bay

The brave at heart can rise and shine to go for an optional shark cage dive with Great White sharks in the waters between Gansbaai and Dyer Island, known as “Shark Alley” -OR- spend the morning at leisure in Hermanus; a laid-back coastal town, known around the world for it’s spectacular land-based whale watching (Jun-Nov).
Be fascinated by the lovable and simply delightful penguins at Stony Point Reserve in Betty’s Bay.
Take the scenic coastal route along Clarence Drive to reach Cape Town by late afternoon.
