Lake Malawi

Known by the locals as Lake Nyasa, this massive body of water claims the slot of 9th biggest lake in the world and is a major highlight of any overland tour or safari passing through East Africa.  Tourists can enjoy activities such as freshwater snorkeling, diving or just resting on the beautiful beaches. The lake is also a popular spot for water sports such as kayaking and sailing, and is a great way to be introduced to the underrated beauty of Malawi.
