3 Day Kruger Park and Tent Experience

Experience the African bush in the most authentic way, permanent tents along a river bed will give you that authentic rustic feel.

You are collected from Johannesburg and brought to the Greater Kruger area where you will go on your first evening game drive followed by a delicious braai (barbeque) under the African stars. Tonight you will spend the night in the chalets at our main camp. An early morning rise sees you off on a full day Kruger National Park Game Drive before heading to your tent camp for dinner and well deserved rest. Finally, you will enjoy an early morning bush walk before catching your transport back to Johannesburg but not without first stopping at the beautiful Blyde River Canyon.

The perfect taste of Kruger National Park, for those with limited time but who still would like to see this flagship park of South Africa.

3 Day Kruger Park and Tent Experience

Day 1

We collect you from your hostel or Johannesburg Airport and travel via Dullstroom to the Camp in the Motlala Game Reserve. There you transfer to an open Gameviewer for a Sunset Drive. After dark, spotlights are used to locate nocturnal animals. Dinner and overnight at the Camp in your tent supplied with bed and bedding, towel and soap, electric light and fan.

Day 2

You travel on the open-sided Gameviewer to the Orpen Gate of Kruger. The added elevation and absence of windows allow for excellent viewing and photographic opportunities. Your qualified guide will show you various animals, large and small, that frequent this outstanding wildlife paradise. This zone of Kruger has the highest percentage population of giraffe, zebra and antelope that attract numerous lions and other predators. Dinner and overnight at the Camp in your tent.

Day 3

We have an early morning Bush Walk accompanied by an armed ranger. You will be shown various interesting details of the bush, including insects, spoor and scats. You have an excellent chance of encountering Buffalo, Nyala and other game on foot. After breakfast, we drive to the Three Rondawels of the Blyde River Canyon. We return you to your hostel or airport at around 17h00.
