You’ve always wanted to learn to surf but never gotten around to it? Where better to start than at one of Cape Town’s beautiful beaches, with a qualified surf coach and a snug, comfy wetsuit! This two-hour session includes use of a surfboard, transport to the beach with the best swell and wind conditions on the day of your choice, and instruction on surf safety, paddle techniques and how to stand up!  If you’re hooked after your first lesson, you can upgrade to a four-lesson package. Surfing at beaches along Cape Town’s coastline

Surf Lessons

We will pick you up from your accommodation and transport you to the beach with the most ideal wind and swell conditions on the day of your lesson. If you opt for the self-drive option, we will send details 24 hours in advance of where and when to meet us.   Upon arrival at the beach we will change into our wetsuits and hit the surf for a 2 hour lesson. Our qualified coaches will cover everything from surf safety and ocean awareness, to paddling technique and how to stand up and surf the waves.

What to bring

  • swimsuit/boardshorts
  • towel
  • sunscreen (waterproof or zinc)
  • warm sweater

Group lesson (Transported option) - R790.00 per person

Group lesson (Self-drive option) – R540.00 per person

Private coaching (Transported option) – R1850.00

Private coaching (Self-drive option) – R1600.00

Includes:

Surf coach, wetsuit, surfboard

Excludes:

Beverages and Items of a personal nature like Sunscreen, Beach Towels, etc.
