Gorilla Trekking
Uganda is the most popular and easiest country to go and view these magnificent beasts in their natural habitat. Congo and Rwanda being the other two are nowhere near as easily accessible. With budget gorilla trekking permits coming in at around $600, you can experience the incredible human like dynamic of up close and personal in the Bwindi Impenetrable National Forrest. Jinja

Lake Victoria
One of the most stunning landmarks in Uganda is Lake Victoria. The region offers wildlife, overland safaris and historical fossil sites.
