VOLUNTEERING IN SOUTH AFRICA

Volunteering in a foreign country is often referred to as Voluntouring. This is because you have the chance to travel to new and exciting destinations, while at the same time helping those in need. People choose to do a volunteer job for a variety of reasons. For some it provides the chance to develop new skills or improve existing skills and knowledge. But for most it offers the opportunity to make a difference to other people’s life’s and to give something back to the community. Volunteering can make a real difference to the lives of the people around you and a real difference to your own life.

We have a lot of volunteer opportunities across Southern Africa. We offer programmes that range from nature conservation, to wildlife conservation, to working with people who are ill or struggling with poverty. Most of our current volunteering projects are in and around Cape Town.

So, if you are thinking you would like to volunteer in Cape Town or volunteer in South Africa, take a look through our volunteering opportunities list below and see if there’s a project that interests you. Or alternatively contact us and we can find a placement that suites you perfectly.
