During a trip to Kruger, one of our staff manager to catch this amazing footage of a family of elephants crossing the road.

During a trip to Kruger National Park the car had to be stopped because of this family of 6 elephants and 1 baby elephant crossing the road.

Elephants are family orientated and often led by the oldest and largest female like you see above. By the time a baby elephant is 9 months old they have learnt how and what to eat by watching the older elephants. Baby elephant usually stay with their mothers for 3-4 years as they depend on the mother’s milk. Hopefully the baby elephant will be stay safe with his mother as long as possible.
