The Western Cape, where mountains meet the sea. The Western Cape draws millions of visitors each year to the seemingly small province of South Africa with is absolute beauty.

The Cape is surrounded by two oceans, the Atlantic Ocean to the west and the Indian Ocean to the south. One of the best-known features of the Western Cape is the Garden Route, between Cape Town and Port Elizabeth. The Garden Route is often described as paradise with its glorious natural beauty. The coast is sprinkled with sandy beaches and rocky shores while inland you will find indigenous forests, small fisherman villages and emerald lakes.

When visiting the Western Cape, don’t forget to bring a visit to Hermanus, the whale-watching capital of South Africa, during Whale season. Visit the winelands for some exceptional wine tastings and beautiful surroundings and visit the lovely town of Oudtshoorn, famous for its ostrich farms and the magical Cango Caves.
